Paramount came out with a comedy film titled "Dinner For Schmucks" into theaters a couple of months ago. I recently checked it out, and I'm still giggling over how humorous it was. I've never witnessed Steve Carell be so funny. I agree with the top movie critics. He truly did carry this movie, performing the comedic role of the idiot guy Barry. The film stars: Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Jemaine Clement, Jeff Dunham, Bruce Greenwood, Ron Livingston, Stephanie Szostak, Lucy Davenport, and Kristen Schaal.

It centered around two males named Tim (Paul Rudd) and Barry. Tim's planning to get ahead in his investment company, or as they put it, move from the 6th floor to the 7th floor. He comes up with a strategy, so his boss invites him to a dinner, which could decide the fate of his promotion. However, the dinner is no regular dinner. He has to invite one of the best idiot he is able to find because his colleagues like to laugh at ridiculous people, and literally give prizes out to the leading idiot.

Tim eventually meets Barry, and feels he would be a perfect fit since he collects dead rats and dresses them up. However, he didn't quite know what he was in for when he befriended Barry. Barry genuinely destroys Tim's romantic life and almost his business life in a matter of a couple of days.

Barry invites a stalker ex-fling to Tim's house, messes up a business meeting, pulls Tim into a situation where has to propose to the stalker, throws Tim's back out, tosses Tim's Porsche keys into a stranger's apartment, and more. Yet the flick ends with an outstanding story because Barry ends up fixing what was most significant to Tim.
